Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

At USTech Solutions, we’re building an inclusive environment where everyone thrives. As a minority-owned business, we embrace DEIB as a core component of our culture, our approach to business, and the opportunities we provide to our clients and employees.

What is Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB)?

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is a framework for creating workforce environments where everyone feels valued, respected, and has the opportunity to thrive. Implementing a DEIB strategy is not a one-time thing, but an ongoing process that requires commitment and effort from the whole organization.

At USTech Solutions, we recognize that diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences boost innovation, creativity, and success. DEIB initiatives, when done right, are instrumental to fostering business growth and employee engagement. Partner with us to implement a successful strategy, fully tailored to your requirements.

Hear from our team

Surabhi Bansal

SVP – Strategic Initiatives and Customer Success

“We value diversity in all its facets. We provide workplace flexibility and are a meritocratic organization… we are gender neutral in compensation with due representation of women in all roles and hierarchy levels including leadership positions.”

Meghna Bhattacharya

Executive Vice President of HR

“From the first day I joined the company, I have always felt supported and valued for who I am and the unique perspective I bring to the table. USTech is committed to diversity at all levels of the organization. I have seen this first-hand in the efforts they make to prioritize inclusion in decision-making processes.”

Michelle Vanetti

AVP of Legal & Compliance

“It has never felt like ‘the boys club’, or that there is a glass ceiling preventing me from rising in the ranks. I’d like to highlight that the company is supportive of working mothers and understands that family comes first. I also feel that the women in the company support each other instead of competing with each other.”

Nish Shetty

SVP of Client Delivery Solutions

I have been given the freedom to build my team, create new roles and build a process that works best for the client, keeping their needs, the industry trends and quality standards in mind. I was given the opportunity to build future leaders in the process, most of whom have been women.

To celebrate Women’s Equality Day, this event explores women’s barriers and challenges in entering and progressing within their chosen professions. We also delve into the reasons why organisations struggle to implement women equality initiatives.

In September 2023, the UWI was invited by the International Institute of Information Design (IIID) to participate in a week-long series of universal design workshops. Our team joined a cohort of design teachers from the Academy of Fine Arts and introduced neurodiversity as a new element to be considered.

The discussion focused on the importance of creating a supportive work environment for neurodivergent individuals. Key themes included the value of clear communication, the need for accommodations, the role of kindness in supporting neurodiverse employees, and the importance of employee resource groups (ERGs).

Listen back to this powerful panel discussion on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in the workplace. We explore the barriers to employment, the impact on organisations, and strategies for creating truly inclusive workplaces. Hear from experts and individuals with disabilities as they share their experiences and insights.
